- R-Rated Excerpt -

We’re one, linked by our desire. I guide his shaft to my empty entrance, moan into his throat as he pushes inside me, stretching me tight. He’s so damn large, his cock as massive as the rest of him, and, if I hadn’t taken him last night, I’d be concerned.

But this is our second fuck and I’m fearless, lifting my hips, speeding the long, slow glide of rigid shaft into warm, wet pussy. In Hawke’s brilliant blue eyes I see a reflection of my own wonder, my own joy. This experience is as unique for him as it is for me, energy flowing from his body to mine and back again, a continuous loop growing stronger and stronger.

Finally, my pussy lips touch the curls at his base. “Fuck,” he mutters, this one word encompassing my feelings. “You’re perfect, love.”

When I’m with him, I am perfect and I belong, my curves meshing with his muscle, my smaller body fitting into his larger physique. Hawke pulls back and surges forward and I gasp, gripping his shoulders, a ripple of pleasure flowing over me.

He retreats and advances, retreats and advances, his rhythm constant and too controlled for my liking. I want him to be as wild for me as I am for him. Wrapping my legs around his waist, I kick my heels into his clenched ass cheeks.

Hawke jerks, growls words I can’t decipher, and pushes back, taking me harder, deeper. I laugh, exhilarated by his reaction, and rise up to meet him, clenching my inner walls around his shaft, shredding his restraint even more. His lips flatten into a determined white line as we battle for dominance, driving each other insane with desire.

Sweat beads on our skin, slicking our bodies and darkening Hawke’s tattoos, making us one. I pant, he grunts, and the bed rocks, the sounds of our lust echoing in my ears, exciting me.

As he thrusts into me, I lick his chin, his stubble scraping my tongue, the salt of his efforts filling my mouth. He shudders, his shaft swelling inside me, his balls hugging his body, and the pulse of need within me grows, a tempo I can’t ignore.

“Hawke.” I dig my fingernails into his shoulders, trying to delay my release.

“No . . . curtains,” he huffs, his hot breath blowing over my cheeks. His biceps bulge as he braces himself above me. His chest flattens my breasts. “Watching . . . us.”

He knows what to say to drive me wild.

When do you let go of love? When your loved one has sex with another person? Moves in with her/him? Marries your rival? Has a baby with her/him? At what point do you say ‘I have to let him/her go, move on, allow this love to fade?’

Sinful Rewards is a love triangle. Bee, an exhibitionist heroine, is torn between a billionaire with a dark secret and a bad boy biker.

In Sinful Rewards 7, Bee has sex with one of these hunky men. Does this mean she won’t find happiness with the other hero?

If you asked me this at the end of that story, I would have said ‘Yes, she’s chosen her man. There’s no going back. She’s fully committed.’ While writing Sinful Rewards 8, I began to have doubts.

The man Bee didn’t have sex with won’t let her go. He pursues her, tells her that what she did last night is history, forgotten. They can start again, save their relationship. He hasn’t reached the point where he’ll walk away from her.

Bee is aware of this. She knows that door hasn’t been closed, permanently locked. Yes, she believes she has made her choice but, in the back of her mind, she realizes both of the men continue to be options. She can change her decision.

I’ve only been in love with one man, my dear wonderful hubby. If he hadn’t loved me back, had begun dating another person (ouch), I might have let him go but I doubt I would have ever gotten over him. I would have always had hope that he’d come back to me. (This is all a guess. I don’t know how I truly would have reacted. Maybe I would have turned stalker on him. Who knows?)

When I was in ‘like’ with the previous guys I dated, I walked away from them when they started dating someone new. That was my line in the sand. I didn’t want to interfere with their relationships with these other women, to be the reason it didn’t work out between them. I waited for a few men, knowing the women were all wrong for them and their relationships wouldn’t last, but I didn’t try to speed the process or otherwise mess with their relationships.

Have you ever let go of love? At what point did you walk away, deciding it wasn’t meant to be?

Cynthia is happily married. Although her hubby has not yet shown any shapeshifting abilities, he does buy her medieval princess costumes to wear around the house. Cynthia's rather traditional mother-in-law now always calls before visiting.

Sinful Rewards 3
by Cynthia Sax

A very large man separates from the pack, and my words fade. He’s backlit, his face and form in darkness, but I’d recognize that blunt buzz cut, square chin, broad shoulders, and confident swagger anywhere.

“Hawke,” I whisper, my toes wiggling in the practical flats I was forced to wear. My lack of heels makes him appear even larger, more dominant and manly.

“Sweetheart.” He cups my chin with his rough fingers and tilts my face upward. Our gazes meet and hold, time stopping, the noise and lights fading. There’s only the two of us.

I’ll have sex with this mountain of a man tonight. Decades-entrenched fear battles newly formed desire. The temptation to turn, to run from him, from this fate, increases with each heartbeat. I know of only one way to quiet my mind, to ensure passion wins. “Kiss me,” I whisper.

Hawke doesn’t hesitate. He swoops down and claims my lips, the strength of his embrace stealing my breath. I gasp. He surges inside me, his tongue tangling, tumbling with mine. He tastes of whiskey and chocolate, a burning sweetness I could quickly become addicted to.

My knees tremble, and he straps his arms around my body, holding me upright, pressing me to him. I forget everything, my doubts, our audience, my friend Cyndi, losing myself in him, in the rasp of his stubble-covered chin against my skin, the stroke of his tongue along mine, the hardness of his body.

Hawke lifts me higher, fitting me into his fit form. My curves flatten against his muscle. My feet dangle above the pavement. Never have I felt this delicate, this cherished.

I grip his shoulders, clinging to him, relishing his strength and size. This is right, this kiss, this night, this man. I’ll give him everything, expecting only pleasure in return, forgoing forever for one evening.

A man whistles, breaking the spell. Other men join him, hooting and hollering, their unruly behavior heating my cheeks. Hawke releases my lips and pushes my face into his cotton-covered chest, bending over my smaller form as though to shield me from them.

“I’m glad you came,” he murmurs, his voice low and deep and arousing.

Excerpt #2 – PG Rated

Nicolas listens to the caller, asking more questions than he answers, the communication blunt, to the point, wasting no time. As he talks about financing and interest rates, citing figures in the millions, he strokes my side, not venturing any higher or any lower, seeming content with this innocent touching.

We have time, he’s telling me. He’s not going anywhere. I’m grateful for this slower pace, as I suspect any ground Nicolas conquers, he keeps, and I’m not ready to be completely captured, not yet.

He stretches out his legs, his expensive leather shoes placed flat on the carpeted floor of the limousine. Nicolas’s eyelids lower, his eyelashes thick, his face softening. He resembles a sleek black panther, appearing slumberous yet ready to pounce at any minute. His fingertips swirl lazy circles into my skin.

He ends his call and tosses the phone on the seat. Another man might apologize for the interruption. Nicolas says nothing. He’s a successful real estate developer. Interruptions are part of his world, of my world now. It shouldn’t bother me.

But it does. . .a little. My mom always put her work demands before her time with me, needing the job at the diner to pay our bills. I want to come first with someone, unrealistic as this dream is.

“My boss is announcing my promotion to full time today.” I share my work news with Nicolas. I’ll no longer be temporary, and he, of all people, will understand what this means to me. He prefers to build long-term relationships, maintaining them forever. This is one of the things I like. . .love about him.

“Is he?” Nicolas cups my chin and turns my face toward his. The vibrations under my a$$ fade, the limousine rolling to a stop. We’ve arrived, but I don’t want to leave him. Judging by the gleam in his eyes and the intent way he’s looking at me, Nicolas feels the same way.

“He is. I know he is. I organized the party yesterday.” I give Nicolas a nervous smile, my stomach fluttering with excitement. He’ll kiss me now. I’m certain of this. His embrace will be demanding, possessive, as forceful, as consuming as his personality, erasing all thoughts of other men, especially tattooed former marines. “There will be cupcakes and coffee,” I continue to babble.

“Bee.” Nicolas traps my face between his beautiful hands, his fingers soft yet unyielding, preventing all escape.

I swallow hard. “Yes?”

“Let me be the first to congratulate you.” He draws me closer. My gaze meets his, the passion in his brown eyes captivating me. This passion is for me, ordinary, broke-a$$ Belinda Carter.

Nicolas dips his head and skims his lips over mine, slowly, gently, a brief teasing caress. His breath brushes across my cheeks, his warmth coaxing the fire inside me higher. The scent of mint and expensive cologne tickles my nostrils, filling my senses with him. I lean into my billionaire, clutching his shoulders, eager for more, wishing to lose myself in his embrace, to forget all other kisses.

Nicolas pulls away from me, and his gaze searches my face. I don’t know what he’s looking for. His fingers remain curved around my cheeks, holding me in place. All I have is his for the taking.

I want him to take, I want him to kiss me again, deeper, longer this time, imprinting his being on my soul, finally igniting the passion simmering inside me. I lick my bottom lip, anxious for this claiming, for my foolish disappointment to dissipate.

Nicolas’s eyes darken. “I like to be the first in everything.”

We have Cynthia Sax on our blog today. Cynthia Sax writes contemporary erotic romances with yummy billionaires and bad boy bikers. Her latest release is Sinful Rewards, a 12 novella serial from Avon.

Where did you get the idea for Sinful Rewards?

Cynthia Sax: When Avon Impulse approached me about writing a 12 novella serial, I was completely stoked! I know this was my opportunity to write a delicious love triangle. Love triangles need a huge word count to be believable. 12 novellas of 100 pages or more would give me the space to write one.

Why write a billionaire and a biker as Sinful Rewards’ love triangle rivals?

Cynthia Sax: I knew I’d write about a billionaire. Billionaires fascinate me. When I realized that Nicolas would be a real estate developer, I wanted an alternate hero who would be as different as possible from Nicolas, yet still be a swoon worthy, strong choice. While Nicolas represents home and security, Hawke, our tattooed bad boy biker, symbolizes mobility and freedom. If you had the choice between security and freedom, which would you choose?

What is your writing environment?

Cynthia Sax: I write on an antiqued PC (which I’ve nicknamed the Comedy 64) set on a tiny wood veneer desk I found discarded on a curb. This computer faces a blank wall so I don’t get distracted. My side table is the seldom used ironing board. Yes, we writers live glamorous lives. (grins)

Who is your perfect hero/heroine and why?

Cynthia Sax: The perfect character for me is imperfect. Flaws are interesting and make each character different. I love that Nicolas, the billionaire in Sinful Rewards, has a sweet tooth and a secret love of jellybeans. I love that Bee, the heroine, cleans when she’s upset (putting everything in order makes her feel more in control). I love that Hawke, the bad boy biker, doesn’t care what he looks like.

Which authors/books have caught your interest lately and why?

Cynthia Sax: There are so many. I love Shelly Bells’ White Collared, a four part BDSM erotic romance serial. Opal Carew is always a favorite writer of mine. J.K. Coi’s In Bed With The Competition is a perfect summer read. I loved Christine d’Abo’s Nailed also.

Note: I consider all of these writers friends. If I had to recommend a writer I didn’t consider a friend, I wouldn’t have any writers to recommend. (grins) I usually contact the writers I love and strike up a friendship.

What do you like to do when you are not writing?

Cynthia Sax: We, writers, love our jobs, which is a good thing because writing is a 70 hour plus week job. The hubby and I also love to travel (writing can be done anywhere) and, of course, I love to read. I speed read and average an erotic romance a day.

Synopsis:

Belinda "Bee" Carter is a good girl; at least, that's what she tells herself. And a good girl deserves a nice guy—just like the gorgeous and moody billionaire Nicolas Rainer. He is everything she wants in a man.

Or so she thinks, until she takes a look through her telescope and sees a naked, tattooed man on the balcony across the courtyard. Hawke is mysterious, the bad boy she knows will bring only heartbreak. He has been watching her, and that makes him all the more enticing.

But when a mysterious and anonymous text message dares her to do something bad, she must decide if she is really the good girl she has always claimed to be, or if she's willing to risk everything for her secret fantasy of being watched.

Is her mystery man the reclusive billionaire with a wild side or the darkly dangerous bad boy?

Sinful Rewards 1: A Billionaires and Bikers Novella
by Cynthia Sax

Voices murmur outside the condo’s door, the sound piercing my delightful daydream. I swing the telescope upward, not wanting to be caught using it. The snippets of conversation drift away.

I don’t relax. If the telescope isn’t in the same spot as it was positioned last night, Cyndi will realize I’ve been using it. She’ll tease me about being a fellow pervert, sharing the story, embellished for more dramatic effect, with her stern serious dad or, worse, with Angel, that snobby friend of hers.

I’ll die. It’ll be worse than being the butt of jokes in high school because that ridicule had been about my clothes and this will center around the part of my soul I’ve always kept hidden. It’ll also be the truth and I won’t be able to deny it. I am a pervert.

I have to return the telescope to where it was positioned. This is the only acceptable solution. I tap the metal tube.

Last night, my man-crazy roommate had been giggling over the new guy in three eleven north. The previous occupant had been a gray-haired, bowtie-wearing tax auditor, his luxurious accommodations supplied by Nicolas. The most exciting thing he ever did was drink his tea on the balcony.

According to Cyndi, the new occupant is a delicious piece of man candy, tattooed, buff, and head-to-toe lickable. He’d been completing arm curls outside and she’d enthusiastically counted his reps, oohing and aahing over his bulging biceps, calling to me to take a look.

I’d resisted that temptation, focusing on making macaroni and cheese for the two of us, the recipe snagged from the diner my mom works in. After we scarfed down dinner with Cyndi licking her plate clean, she left for the club and hasn’t returned.

Three eleven north is the mirror condo to ours. I straighten the telescope. That position looks about right but then, the imitation UGGS I bought in second year college looked about right also. The first time I wore the boots in the rain, the sheepskin fell apart, leaving me barefoot in Economics 201.

Unwilling to risk Cyndi’s friendship on about right, I gaze through the eyepiece. The view consists of rippling golden planes, almost like…

Tanned skin pulled over defined abs.

I blink. It can’t be. I take another look. A perfect pearl of perspiration clings to a puckered scar. The drop elongates more and more, stretching, snapping. It trickles downward, navigating the swells and valleys of a man’s honed torso.

No. I straighten. This is wrong. I shouldn’t watch our sexy neighbor as he stands on his balcony. If anyone catches me…

I glance behind me. There’s no one here to catch me. Cyndi won’t know I looked. The hunk in three eleven north won’t know I looked. I’m not harming anyone.

I bend over and take another peek.

The sunlight casts interesting shadows across his stomach, accentuating the ridges of muscle, the dip of his navel. I dart my tongue over my suddenly dry lips. His skin is marred with silver scars, some round, some slashes, this proof of hard living, of survival, arousing me, tightening my nipples and moistening my pussy.

I shouldn’t lust after him. He’s the wrong kind of man, the leaving kind, too virile and feral to stay in one place for long. I can tell this from his stance, from his brazen exhibitionism. He wants me to look at him, to care for him. I tilt the telescope downward. His hips are slim. More scars are etched along the bones. Fine brown hair trails from his navel to…

My mouth drops open. He’s completely naked.
