Synopsis:

Tomorrow is for regrets. Tonight is for being together.

On a cold winter night, Rachel and Jason's lives collide on Manhattan Bridge. She's running from life, he's running toward it. But compassion urges him to help her.

His offer of a place to stay leads to friendship and trouble. There's his fiancée back home in Oregon and a family who just don't trust this girl from the wrong side of the tracks.

But when the connection between them is so electric, so right... everyone else must be wrong. And as the snow begins to settle on the Hudson, there's nothing but the possibility of what could be - of this, right here, right now. Them.

Jane Lark's novel, I Found You, is a story that truly surprised me. Full of emotion, I Found You is one of those stories you have to read for the simple idea of two people, one lost and the other believing he's everything he needs from life, finding themselves and discovering how good they can be for each other.

I Found You is not one of those "secure" stories. Meaning you don't really know how it's going to end and that's the exciting and scary part of it all that keeps the reader hooked in the story.

The story is beautiful. It's clear the love between the two main characters and how their story is not an easy one. The author's writing is amazing and she gave both Rachel and Jason a voice, a personality and a story worth reading about. Plus the chemistry that they develop throughout their fateful friendship is undeniable.

Incredibly emotional and realistic, I Found You is one of those stories that you need to read if you are a reader seeking for strong emotions poured into a book.

Synopsis:

The morning after the New Year’s Eve before...

Waking up to a new year with a killer hangover and hazy memories of a seriously hot hook-up the night before leaves Portia in an awkward situation... Did I, or didn’t I? The only way she’s going to find out is by standing up to the guy in question.

With no regrets, Justin is willing to play the gentleman and save Portia her embarrassment. Only then he gets a text saying, come over… and he’s not gonna lie – this is friends with a lot of benefits!

But no matter how good the sex is, there’s one thing Justin’s not down with: being this shallow rich girl’s dirty little secret...

In this new Starting Out story, Jane Lark brings two people from different worlds together. But not only Jane Lark handled perfectly the one night stand that has the potential to be much more between a rich girl and a boy who is not from high society. She also brings an interracial relationship to the story.

The difference between the two characters: Portia the spoiled girl and Justin the sweet and adorable guy, is what hooked me into the story trying to see if they had a chance together. Their relationship has a lot of potential and that creates a lot of chemistry between them that leads to some hot moments between the two of them.

Comparing it with the first Starting Out story, this new story is all about the socioeconomic differences and how the family influences in what others would think about the relationship between Portia and Justin. However, I loved this new story and I highly recommend it to others.

Jane is qualified to the equivalent of a Masters Degree in People Management and is fascinated by the things that craft people’s personalities, so she has great fun exploring these through characters. She lives in the United Kingdom near the Regency City of Bath and has just bought her 400 year old dream home. History has always tempted her imagination and she loves researching and also exploring ruins and houses to get ideas. She equally loves a love story. Jane has always aspired to writing a historical novel so when she was thirty she put it on her ‘to do before I am forty’ list. She completed her first novel ten years ago, never sent it anywhere then started the next. She’s not stopped writing since, and escaping into a mental world of fiction is a great painkiller to help fight off her Ankylosing Spondylitis.
