Synopsis:
Reaching for sunlight...
Finn survived the ambush and came home to me, but in his head, the battle is still raging. He’s falling apart and I’m trying my best to pick up the pieces of him, to find the us we used to be. I love him as much as I ever did, but love isn’t enough to fix this. I thought telling my father about our relationship would be the hardest thing we’d ever have to face. I was wrong.
Lost in shadows...
All I wanted was to be worthy of Carrie. One mission, just one, and I’d be able to give her the future she deserved. Then everything went wrong, leaving me tainted and broken. Carrie wants me to be who I was, but all that’s left is what they made of me. I’m no good for her. No good for anyone like this. I have to figure out how to move forward. Alone.
Sometimes love isn’t enough…

Out Of Mind is what all the fans of the Out Of Line series were waiting for. This epic finale for the series is full of drama, romance and unforgettable scenes that only a couple like Finn and Carrie can provide.
Surviving the attack on the battlefield is hard for Finn. He's still questioning why he has the chance to live while others don't and he's determined to push the person her loves the most to not drag her into the dark place he's in right now. Struggling with helping Finn while remaining true to herself, Carrie doesn't know what to do to help him and have him back. And, in the meantime, Riley's trying to win Carrie's attention. Will Carrie and Finn find each other again and finally have their happy ending?
That was the question I kept asking myself over and over again while reading the book. I had so much feelings while reading this book, that it should come with a warning.
We've been with Finn and Carrie through all three books, reading their story, smiling and swooning over their relationship and sometimes even crying! But Out Of Mind was the definite conclusion to the series. It gives resolution and an ending to an amazing and romantic series.
I'm going to miss them, however, as a fan myself, I can say that I let them go with a big goofy smile on my face. And if I ever feel nostalgic I can re-read all the books again and again.
For those fans of Out Of Line, Out of Mind will blow your mind! And for those readers who are looking for a romantic NA series, this is definitely a must read.
