Synopsis:
Being unique isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
After searching all over the world for someone as unique as she is, Racquel finds herself back in her home town where she’s treated like a monster ready to kill. Racquel is one of the most unique beings ever created. Four of the most powerful beings in the Shadow World are intertwined within her, making up her unique DNA. But no matter how unique her bloodline is, she’s considered an outcast by the entire Shadow World.
Once arriving home, Racquel finds that greater evils exist and that the person she cares for most in this world, her half-sister Addie, has been kidnapped along with other Shadow World beings. Racquel finds herself facing horrible odds with those who would rather see her dead than alive.
As her journey continues, Racquel learns more about herself, what she is capable of, and that not every being looks at her as an abomination. Coy, a human captive that Racquel saves from the Vampires, starts showing kindness toward her. Racquel tries putting distance between her and the human boy but as they spend more time together it becomes harder and harder for Racquel to fight the affection she wants and needs.
But will Coy’s friendship and her new found discoveries be enough to help Racquel unravel the strangest mystery that has ever plagued the Shadow World?

Synopsis:
"This is it. The moment Heaven and Hell clash. But which unearthly being will win, the fallen angel or Hell's hounds?
Overtaken by fear, I close my eyes."
Kayson is a Fallen Angel who has spent decades running from the Hell Hounds while searching for something that no one else believes can be so, not even God. Kayson is determined to find a Blood Child. But when a hound finds Kayson first, he is sure his end has come.
Falon, Alpha of the Hell Hounds, destroyer of the blood children, and devoted believer in his master’s plan, is bound and determined to drag Kayson back to Hell with him.
Sabrina is a Vampire, a half-breed created from one of Lucifer’s original blood children. After years of hiding, Sabrina’s fate changes when she finds Kayson barely alive. Against her instincts, Sabrina saves him. Now she and Kayson are both marked by the Hell Hounds.
Emma is an ordinary human, whose only problem is making ends meet, and getting over the hurt caused by her untrustworthy brother. Her everyday problems become supernatural ones when she finds Kayson and Sabrina hiding in her parent’s backyard shed.
Kayson, Sabrina and Emma are unlikely allies, thrown together by chance to fight against the most powerful creatures of the underworld in order to follow their world-changing quest. But will the broken faith of one break the faith of all?
I do read my reviews and take them very seriously. If there are several who make the same complaint, I step back and review my work. If authors do not listen to readers, the ones we are wanting to take us seriously, then how will they ever know how much we appreciate them.
Richelle Mead, JR Ward, Victoria Scott, Zoe Dawson, Kaitlin Bevis, HD Gordon, Quinn Loftis, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and so many, many more.
I have to chose one? Haha :) Okay, if I was to only chose one it would be Adrian Ivashkov. I always fall for the bad boy, wanting to know why he's that way and reading as he slowly reveals his real desires, kindness, and fierce protection, even though he tries to portray himself as uncaring.
Awe man, this is like the fictional boyfriend scenario. I adore so many heroines and the bravery they show. But if I had to choose just one, it would probably be Racquel from my Shadow World Series. Don't think I'm biased, I've just thought of her, developed her story, and even when I hear certain songs, think of her. It would be awesome to live her life after having put so much in to creating her.
As of right now, Divergent. I've seen a lot of good/bad movie adaptations, but Divergent was great.
Right now I'm working on two WIP. Project one is the third book to my Spiritual Discord Series. The other is set in the 1800's and is about a young girl preparing to celebrate the first Hallow's Eve celebration in her small community. MaryAnn is afraid because she dreams and wonders, her thoughts taking her away to wonderful adventures and fairytale lands. But dreaming of things like that in her time is frowned upon, and the church could even say that darkness has its grip on her. When MaryAnn and her brother Simon leave for the festival, MaryAnn feels as if someone is watching her. That night MaryAnn is introduced to a world most would be afraid to see, but not MaryAnn, especially with the handsome spirit, Jack, leading the way. This novella is set to be out in September.
Not to lose sight on your dreams and get sidetracked with what others want from you.
The subsequent books. I get so nervous that I'm not letting the characters voices change. Will the plot of the series as a whole be as great as the first book promised? All the concerns that I think every author has when writing a series. I've read some great series, but there have been some that tapered off after the third or fourth book. I worry the same will happen with my series.
Brandy Nacole resides in Arkansas where her imagination runs wild. Her obsession is reading but her passion is writing. She put her dream of becoming a writer on the back burner and went to college to become a psychologist. Three years after endless classes in a field she only felt half satisfied with, Brandy picked up her pen once again and wrote the outline to Uniquely Unwelcome. She finished out her degree in psychology, but traded her dream of writing for the degree and put psychology on the back burner.
Whenever she’s not reading or writing, Brandy is spending time with her family and friends, throwing around crazy ideas, teaching , and singing like a rock star at a concert for no one else but herself. She loves plants, but unfortunately is a killer of anything that requires water but can’t voice (scream) their needs.
She is the author of The Shadow World Series and The Spiritual Discord Series.
