Synopsis:
This soldier’s the perfect hoax…if she doesn’t fall for him first.
Stats whiz Kayla Moriarity knows her way around numbers and algorithms. Men, on the other hand, are unsolvable equations. Now Kayla’s en route to her sister’s wedding—alone and without the fictional boyfriend she invented for her family. Fortunately, her plane comes complete with complimentary cocktails and a ridiculously hot ex-marine in the seat beside her. And that’s all it takes for Kayla’s inhibitions to go sailing out the airlock...
Cooper Shillings has soft spot for people in trouble, but he certainly wasn’t expecting to land in it himself—and definitely not while getting naughty mid-air with a sexy southern belle. When he hears Kayla’s predicament, however, he offers his services as a stand-in boyfriend. After all, he’s heading overseas soon...and how could he refuse a little no-strings wickedness?
It’s the perfect plan. And all Kayla has to do is ensure her family falls for the ultimate bluff, without falling for it—and Cooper—in the process...
I couldn't believe my luck when I received an ARC for a new story written by Diane Alberts. Having read the synopsis of Temporarily Yours made me want to read and I started it the very same day I received it. And I have to thank InkSlinger and Diane Alberts for letting me meet Cooper... well, okay, and Kayla, too. But mostly Cooper.
Temporarily Yours is a short, beautiful, intense and sexy romance story between Cooper and Kayla. And it's definitely the perfect the definition of two complete strangers feeling a sudden and hot attraction for each other, end up in situations where they feelings start to grow.
These kind of stories are the ones I like: with a happy and promising ending, a sexy, sweet and gentleman man trying to "save" the girl and in between these events they fall in love for each other. Of course, there's got to be a little bit of drama into it and mostly it has to make me smile from ear to ear. And I can officially say that Temporarily Yours reached all my expectations and more.
This new story reminded me a little of the movie Leap Year, with Diane Alberts touch. The writing was amazingly perfect, as always, and it was pretty easy to follow the story without missing any detail. However, this one was way more hot than the story in Leap Year. Kayla and Cooper actually end up hooking up... in a plane! And their relationship goes from hot, intense and passionate to unbelievable hot, intense and passionate. You're always expecting to see Kayla and Cooper's relationship end up suddenly, breaking your heart, and you are on edge all the time just by wanting to know how these two are gonna solve all their problems and give you the happy ending you're wishing for.
The characters are also easy to fall in love with and their story is magnetic. They also have their internal demons: Cooper with not wanting to accept his father's offer to accept a new position in the family business and Kayla with the problem of not finding a suitable man to share her life with. Throughout the story they struggle with their problems and also try to convince themselves that their passionate relationship cannot be a permanent thing in their lives.
It can be a little predictable, but sometimes having such a great author writing a "predictable" story makes it worth it. Diane Alberts completely shut up any possible thoughts in my mind complaining about this and my romantic side won, simply because it's a great New Adult romance. And a definitely a must read one.
So, yes, you need to read this story if you're aching for some romance this week. Because Diane Alberts would make you fall in love with her characters in a blink and you won't be able to put down her story until you have read all the pages in the book and know how Cooper and Kayla's relationship ends.

Peyton List as Kayla
What do you think, Book Addicts?
by Diane Alberts
In Temporarily Yours, my newest release with Entangled Publishing, I had a lot of fun stretching the boundaries. Not gonna lie! But with the Brazen line, that’s’ what these books are all about! Fun, sexy, and fresh! These two characters meet, and you instantly feel their attraction for one another.
Their eyes meet, and they instantly connect. Of course, this is in an airport…so the next logical step? Getting on a plane. Then? The real fun begins.
Think about it. When you’re on a plane, do you REALLY look at the other passengers? Or do you mind your own business, read a book, write a tweet, talk to your travelling companion, pray not to die (I’ve done all of those things).
This got me thinking: What if you did more than that? What if you courted, seduced, and conquered—all on a plane? How would you do it and not get caught (unlike that unfortunate couple in the news a few months ago)? Then…
Well, I wrote it into a book! If you read it, did you think it was realistic—as in something someone could be doing RIGHT behind you, and you’d be snoring through the whole thing? I’m dying to know what you all think!
